Navigation, shortcuts, and app menu

Open every Shotomatic workspace and use its global navigation and File menu commands.

The sidebar separates capture workflows from the Documents workspace.

Capture History is available at the bottom of the sidebar.

File menu

The macOS File menu includes:

  • New Session (Command + N);
  • Open Image Preview (Command + O);
  • export all current frames as GIF, PDF, ZIP, or Images;
  • set or open the export folder.

File-menu exports act on all frames in the current session. Screenshot-pane and Capture History export buttons act on selected frames.

View and app menus

The View menu provides reload, zoom, and full-screen controls. The Shotomatic app menu opens Settings and update commands.

Choose a workflow

  • Use Auto Capture for timed or key-driven sequences.
  • Use Website Capture for a list of URLs with browser-specific options.
  • Use Action Capture to turn clicks into editable steps.
  • Use Documents to import, organize, annotate, frame, and export Pages.
