Shotomatic 1.9.7: Better Action Capture Control and In-App Feedback

Shotomatic 1.9.7 adds flexible Action Capture click rules, consistent manual-capture markers, and a direct in-app feedback form.

Shotomatic 1.9.7 gives you more control over what becomes an Action Capture step and adds a direct way to send feedback from the app.

Choose which clicks create steps

Action Capture can now record every click, ignore mouse clicks for a shortcut-only workflow, require a selected modifier key, or record only clicks made without that modifier. The modifier setting appears directly below the active click rule so the current behavior is easier to understand.

Use the manual capture shortcut whenever you need a step without clicking. The default is Shift + Command + 2, and you can record a different shortcut under Configure.

Keep manual captures visually consistent

Mark clicked area now controls the marker for both click and manual captures. Show cursor in shortcut captures separately controls whether the pointer itself appears in a shortcut capture. The Configure Action Capture window is also wider, with shortcut-related settings grouped together.

Send feedback from Shotomatic

Free and Pro users can now choose Send feedback in the sidebar, enter a reply email, and attach up to five PNG, JPG, or WebP images. Shotomatic also includes sanitized diagnostics from the last 24 hours so reports arrive with useful app and system context.

Update to Shotomatic v1.9.7 for the new Action Capture controls and in-app feedback form.
