Intel Mac Support
Shotomatic now runs natively on Intel-based Macs, expanding compatibility beyond Apple Silicon.
We're excited to announce that Shotomatic now supports Intel-based Macs alongside Apple Silicon! It took us a while to get it working reliably across both architectures, but thanks to the power of Electron's cross-platform capabilities, we finally got it right.
What's New
Previously, Shotomatic was only available for Apple Silicon Macs. Starting with version 1.5.3, we now support both architectures:
- Apple Silicon
- Intel (x86_64)
New Download Options
The download button now includes a dropdown menu to choose between Apple Silicon and Intel builds.
