Images to GIF: Make an Animated GIF from Photos and Screenshots
New free Images to GIF tool that turns photos and screenshots into an animated GIF on your device, with frame timing, looping, width, and background settings.

We shipped a new free Images to GIF tool in Shotomatic. Add photos or screenshots, set the timing, and download an animated GIF. Every file is processed on your device.
What's New
- Turn images into an animated GIF
- Set Time per frame anywhere from 0.02 to 60 seconds
- Choose Loop forever or Play once
- Click Sort by name to put numbered files in order
GIF Settings
- Width sets the output size, and it is never wider than the first image
- Image fit decides how images that don't match the frame are placed
- Background can be Transparent, White, or Black
- Click Create GIF to preview the result, then click Download GIF
GIF has limits of its own. Each frame uses a palette of 256 colors, so photos with smooth gradients can show banding. Transparency is all or nothing, so soft edges get a hard outline.
Limits
- Up to 100 images per GIF
- Up to 20 MB per file
